Terminal Expansion/Federal Inspection Station Atlantic City International Airport
Project OverviewThe South Jersey Transportation Authority has begun upgrading the facilities at Atlantic City International Airport(ACY). The next step in the process is the expansion of its Terminal to include the development of a Federal Inspection Services Station. Under this project, equipment will include additional passenger loading bridges and gates, new technological upgrades, baggage carousel improvements, added retail space and improved check-in capabilities. The Initial Construction phasing of the Project will begin in January 2011. The entire project is expected to be completed November 2012. Throughout the project, Airport directional signage will be placed throughout the terminal to assist the traveling public.
