Choirs Perform Holiday Tunes For Atlantic City Flyers
“This is the busiest time of year to travel so we’re doing our part to make it fun, festive and even more enjoyable by showcasing the talents of young people from the surrounding area,” said Bart R. Mueller, executive director of the South Jersey Transportation Authority, which owns and operates the airport. “Decorations are on display around the terminal and the two choirs are an added bonus to get travelers into the spirit of the season.”
Both choruses are experienced. They have traveled abroad and performed at prestigious concert halls.
The Camden Catholic High School choir was a finalist in a choir competition organized by WBEB-FM, a Philadelphia radio station. They have also performed throughout Europe in Italy and Vienna. The choir is scheduled to perform in France this June.
Charter Tech School of the Performing Arts in Somers Point has an advanced ensemble with singing engagements at the legendary Carnegie Hall.
