Miss America Hopefuls Arrive At Atlantic City International Airport, Participate in Photo Shoot
Contestants in the 2014 Miss America competition began their two-week stay in Atlantic City today with a visit to Atlantic City International Airport, where airport officials and the public welcomed 53 women representing each state, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Contestants briefly toured Southern New Jersey’s largest airport and participated in a photo shoot in and around the passenger terminal.
New Jersey Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno and other officials will welcome the contestants to Atlantic City in a ceremony at Boardwalk Hall following the visit to the airport.
