The Airport Badge Office is responsible for administering training and issuing security ID badges for secured areas within the airport and inside the Airport Operations Area (AOA). The Airport Badge Office also controls/assigns access to secured areas and issues permits to ramp authorized vehicles. Our customers are comprised of airline/FBO employees, tenants, contractors, vendors, consultants, government employees, general aviation pilots and military personnel.

Airport Badge Office Hours

  • New Security ID Badges will be issued 0830-1530 Monday – Friday
  • Renewals will normally be issued 0600-2200 daily. If unable to renew your ID within normal renewal hours, contact the Airport Badge Office to make arrangements.   
  • The Airport Badge Office is located in the Airport Operations Center. If you do not have a security ID badge, call extension 4702 from a courtesy phone inside the terminal for access to the Airport Operations Center.


Security ID Badge Process Summary

  • Provide biographical information to your company’s signatory.
  • Make sure your company’s signatory reviews the entire application, signs and completes the "employment certification" block on page 3.
  • Call Airport Operations at (609) 645-7895 ext 4702 to schedule a fingerprint appointment. Fingerprinting is conducted Monday-Friday 0900-1500. An initial badge fee of $50.00 will be collected at the time of fingerprinting.
  • You will be contacted by the Airport Badge Office with the status of your application when all vetting has been completed.
  • Once approved, call Airport Operations to schedule applicable; tests/badging.


Making Appointments

Appointments are required for all new and renewal badges. Please make an appointment at least 2 days in advance by contacting Airport Operations at (609) 645-7895 ext 4702.

When scheduling an appointment for renewals, make sure you schedule enough time to take all applicable training.


Badge Renewals

All security ID badge renewals will require appointments, since you must retake all applicable training tests. Allow at least one hour per training test. Security ID badges can be renewed up to 30 days before expiration date. A $25.00 renewal fee will be assessed at the time of renewal. Security ID badge holders that are expired for less than 30 days will be charged a $25.00 expired badge fee. Badges that are expired for more than 30 days will have to go through the application process again.

You must also bring 2 forms of ID at the time of renewal. See Page 6 of the Security ID Badge Application for a List of Acceptable Documents.

Lost/Stolen Badges

If your security ID badge is lost or stolen, you must immediately report it to Airport Operations at (609) 645-7895 ext 4702. The Airport Operations Center is staffed 24 hours a day. Also notify your authorized signatory immediately .

All fees must be paid via certified check, money order, or credit card.

Fingerprint Fee - $50.00

Lost Badge Fee - 1st Offense = $75.00; 2nd Offense = $100; 3rd Offense = $125 and/or individual may be considered for possible permanent revocation of all security ID badge privileges. Lost badge fees are non-refundable.

Not Returned Badge Fee - $100.00 per badge to be charged to the Tenant/Contractor/Company

Expired Badge Fee - $25.00 to be paid by the badge holder at time of badge renewal. Fee must be paid to the receptionist at administration before the security ID badge can be renewed.

Badge Deactivation

Authorized Signatories must request a badge to be deactivated by contacting Airport Operations at (609) 645-7895 ext 4702.
