The Authority recognized the service of three 25-year employees,
Joseph Berenato, Anthony Carrelli and
Joseph Monzo. All three make their homes in Hammonton and work out of Central Maintenance. Acting Executive Director Jim Iannone sent each man a letter thanking them for their "dedicated service." Berenato also has announced his plan to retire.
Superintendent Joe Penn says he doesn’t use their first names. He knows Carrelli as "Reds," Monzo as "Grumpy" and Berenato as "Biddy". Is that what he’ll be called as a distinguished retired employee? Monzo and Carrelli attended the March Board of Commissioners' meeting to be recognized in person.
