Kathleen H. Monzo, Expressway Administration Supervisor, was named the SJTA's April Employee of the Month and also was honored for 25 years of service.
“Kathy is the glue that holds the department together,” says Expressway Director Rich Woolston. “She can be counted on to perform her duties meticulously, correctly and on time. Her knowledge of Expressway personnel and operating procedures are irreplaceable.”
He pointed out that she is the first female member in the history of the Expressway Department to be promoted to supervisor. “This is an honor that is very much deserved and I congratulate Kathy on her selection,” Woolston said.
Along with Kathy, Linda E. Phillips and Joseph Berenato were recognized for 25 years of service, and Laurence E. Peterson and James T. Byus for 15 years.
