Have E-ZPass Already?
If you have received a traffic summons issued by the New Jersey State Police for a toll violation and have an E-ZPass account, first contact the E-ZPass Service center at 1-888-288-6865 (or www.ezpassnj.com) to verify your account status. If your account is in good standing contact the SJTA at 609-965-6060. Be prepared to provide your E-ZPass account number, proof of toll payment and the traffic summons number. This must be done prior to the court date listed on the traffic summons.
Missed the toll? Don't despair. At South Jersey Transportation Authority we understand how difficult and confusing it can be at times to change lanes during periods of heavy traffic. There are two easy ways to correct this problem BUT YOU MUST DO SO WITHIN 48 HOURS:
1. You can pay the missed toll at either the Pleasantville toll plaza (milepost 4) or Egg Harbor toll plaza (milepost 16). Let the attendant know that you need to pay a missed toll. Here you will be able to pay the missed toll, along with your current toll. Just remember to keep the receipt.
2. Stop by the SJTA Administration Office located at the Farley Service Plaza (milepost 21.3), Monday through Friday during business hours. Our receptionist will be happy to accept your payment and give you a receipt.
If you have received a traffic summons, don't have an E-ZPass account and have paid the toll within 48 hours as required, please call the SJTA at 609-965-6060. Remember-be prepared to provide proof of toll payment.
3. Send a check or money order for the toll to:

In the memo portion of the check/money order, please write the date, location of toll missed as well as the license number/state of the car. Keep a copy as a receipt as you may get a violation notice from E-ZPass (they will not necessarily know you paid and you may get a notice). We will also record your payment and can confirm payment if necessary.
