Finance Department
Resolution 2008-38 of the South Jersey Transportation Authority authorizing the extension of the contract with Commerce Bank, NA for automatic teller machines at the Atlantic City International Airport and the Farley Service Plaza___________________________________
This resolution will authorize the extension of the contract with Commerce Bank that was awarded May 15, 2007 for the maintenance and installation of two (2) ATM machines at the Airport and one (1) ATM machine at the Farley Service Plaza. The awarded contract was for one (1) year with two (2), one (1) year options to renew. This extension will be the first one (1) year option to renew from June 15, 2008 to June 14, 2009.

Executive Department
The following Executive Department items are to be approved by Consent Agenda:
Resolution 2008-39 Resolution of the South Jersey Transportation Authority authorizing the extension of the contract with Arthur J. Gallagher and Company for professional consultant/broker services to the Authority for medical insurance_______________________
This resolution will authorize the extension of the contract with Arthur J. Gallagher & Company that was awarded August 1, 2006 for Consultant/Broker services for Medical Insurance. The awarded contract was for two (2) years with two (2), one (1) year options to renew. This extension will be the first one (1) year option to renew from August 1, 2008 to July 31, 2009.
Resolution 2008-40 Resolution of the South Jersey Transportation Authority authorizing the extension of the contract with Commerce Insurance Services for professional consultant/broker services to the Authority for liability insurance_______________________
This resolution will authorize the extension of the contract with Commerce Insurance Services that was awarded August 1, 2006 for Consultant/Broker services for Liability Insurance. The awarded contract was for two (2) years with two (2), one (1) year options to renew. This extension will be the first one (1) year option to renew from August 1, 2008 to July 31, 2009.
Resolution 2008-41 Resolution of the South Jersey Transportation Authority extending the appointment of Cooper, Levenson, April, Niedelman and Wagenheim, PA as special counsel to the Authority___________________________________________________________________
This resolution will authorize the extension of the appointment of the firm of Cooper, Levenson, April, Neidelman & Wagenheim, PA as Special Counsel to the Authority. By Resolution 2006-67 the firms for General and Special Counsel were appointed for a term of one (1) year and by Resolution 2007-58 the appointments were extended for three (3) months. The Authority wishes to extend this appointment for an additional four (4) months expiring July 31, 2008.
Airport Department
The following Airport Department items are to be approved by Consent Agenda:
Resolution 2008-42 Resolution of the South Jersey Transportation Authority authorizing the Authority to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration as a replacement for no-cost lease arrangements for Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS) at Atlantic City International Airport___________________________________
This resolution is in response to an FAA request to change the format concerning Navaids at all airports. The current arrangement is for individual leases on each Navaid with accompanying legal description as to location on the airfield. The new arrangement will be a Memorandum of Agreement to include all FAA placed Navaids regardless of location.

Resolution 2008-43 Resolution of the South Jersey Transportation Authority authorizing the execution of a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement between the United States of America, Department of Homeland Security and the South Jersey Transportation Authority
This proposed agreement is to allow the SJTA to work with the Transportation Security Lab (TSL) to develop a test bed for various transportation security-related improvements and technologies. Testing and evaluation completed through this agreement could lead to significant security improvements for the traveling public.
Resolution 2008-44 Resolution of the South Jersey Transportation Authority authorizing the execution of an agreement between MacQuarie Aviation North America, Inc. d/b/a Avports and the South Jersey Transportation Authority for the management of the operation of the Atlantic City International Airport_________________________________________________
This resolution authorizes the SJTA to enter into an agreement with Macquarie North America, d/b/a AvPORTS, for the operation and maintenance of the Atlantic City International Airport. This proposed resolution is to award a contract to Macquarie North America, d/b/a AvPORTS, for the daily operation and maintenance of the Atlantic City International Airport. The term is five (5) years with one (1) five year option. The fixed fee is $380,625.00 for the first eighteen months and increase by three (3) percent each subsequent year.
Tourist Services Department
Resolution 2008-45 Resolution of the South Jersey Transportation Authority authorizing the award of a contract to Gobis and Company as Out of Home Advertising Program Consultant
This resolution authorizes entering into an agreement with Gobis and Company to provide for Out of Home Advertising Program Consulting Services. Requests for Proposals were publicly advertised and placed on the SJTA Website on February 12-13, 2008. Two (2) proposals were received and opened on March 12, 2008. A recommendation was made that the out of home Advertising Program Consulting Services be awarded to Gobis and Company for a contract amount not to exceed $71,166.00.
Transportation Services Division
The following Transportation Services Division items are to be approved by Consent Agenda:
Resolution 2008-46 Resolution of the South Jersey Transportation Authority establishing rates for the use of parking facilities at the Atlantic City International Airport___________
This resolution authorizes revising the fees applicable to the use of the parking facilities in the economy and overflow lots at the Airport with the increase of $1.00 to $8.00 per day. This rate increase has been determined to be competitive with other local airports. The effective date will be August 1, 2008 or at such later time as the Executive Director may direct.

Resolution 2008-47 Resolution of the South Jersey Transportation Authority authorizing the extension of the contract awarded to Ninsa, LLC for snow removal and ice control at certain SJTA parking facilities__________________________________________________________
This resolution authorizes the extension of the contract with NINSA, LLC of Hammonton, New Jersey to provide snow removal services and ice control for the Authority. By Resolution 2006-87, the Authority awarded a contract to NINSA, LLC for snow removal services for a term of one (1) year with the option for two (2), one (1) year extensions. This is the first option to renew for the period from on or about June 13, 2008 through June 12, 2009.
Resolution 2008-48 Resolution of the South Jersey Transportation Authority authorizing the extension of the lease agreement with K.L. Holdings, LLC for office space for the Transportation Services Division of the South Jersey Transportation Authority___________
This resolution extends the current lease of 800 Cooper Street, Camden, New Jersey for 1 ½ months until a new lease for a smaller portion of the space commences on June 17, 2008.
Resolution 2008-49 Resolution of the South Jersey Transportation Authority authorizing the execution of a Sub-lease Agreement with JAE Enterprises, Inc. for office space for the Transportation Services Division of the South Jersey Transportation Authority__________
This resolution authorizes a sub-lease for the Transportation Services Division for a portion of their current space in Camden, New Jersey. The new sub-lease will enable the Transportation Services Division to downsize their original space. Transportation Services Division will occupy approximately 2000.5 square feet of office space. This downsizing will save the Authority approximately $22,000.00 per year.
